Eminem-Produced Film Received Well at Toronto Film Festival

A former sergeant of operations for the Israel Defense Forces, Iftach Jacob now resides in Canada where he supports a variety of nonprofit organizations, including the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario and the Cardiac Health Foundation of Canada. Beyond his professional and charitable endeavors, Iftach Jacob enjoys listening to music and counts rapper Eminem as one of his favorite artists.

Best known for his ability behind the microphone, Eminem earned critical acclaim for his lead role in the film 8 Mile, which is loosely based on his upbringing. The film was released in 2002 and, although the rapper hasn't taken on any major film roles since, he recently produced the film Bodied, which debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) to positive reviews.

Directed by Joseph Kahn, the film, like 8 Mile, focuses on the battle-rap scene, but uses it as a vehicle for addressing present-day racial tensions in the United States. It stars Disney Channel alumnus Calum Worthy as Adam, a talented white male with an affinity for battle rap, and includes appearances by Anthony Michael Hall, Debra Wilson, and Charlamagne Tha God. There is no official release date for the film yet, but it has been confirmed that both Eminem and Dr. Dre will be featured on the soundtrack.

Foo Fighters Releasing Ninth Studio Album in September

Iftach Jacob is a former sergeant of operations for the Israel Defense Forces who now resides in Toronto, Ontario, where he supports a variety of nonprofit organizations. In his free time, Iftach Jacob enjoys listening to Foo Fighters, which he counts as one of his favorite bands.

Led by frontman Dave Grohl, the Foo Fighters are a 10-time Grammy Award-winning rock band that has been creating original music for over 20 years. Founded in Seattle, Washington, the band has put together eight full-length studio albums and recently announced a September 15 release date for their ninth album, Concrete and Gold. The album is currently available for digital, vinyl, and CD pre-order, while related merchandise bundles including a Russian nesting doll set are also available through the band's website.

The album was recorded at Hollywood's EastWest Studios, and might have a somewhat different feel than other Foo Fighters albums. The band worked with producer Greg Kurstin, who has predominantly worked with pop stars such as Adele, Pink, and Sia during his career. In addition to the album, the Foo Fighters will also be embarking on a nationwide tour beginning October 14 in Richmond, Virginia and concluding December 12 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
